Knowbe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB)

The Phish Alert button is a Blue Fish labeled “Phish Alert Report”. You can find it on the Home ribbon in Outlook.

To use the button, first select an email in your inbox, then click the Phish Alert button

The Phish Alert panel will appear on the right side of the screen. At the bottom of the panel is another blue button labeled “Phish Alert”. If you are certain you want to report this email then click the blue button.

The panel will spin for a moment, then once it is done:

• The email will be automatically deleted from your inbox
• You will receive the below message. Click Ok.

Once you’ve reported an email, the email will be scanned and one of three things will occur.

• The email will be confirmed as SPAM. You will receive an email like the below confirming it was spam:

The email will be confirmed as a THREAT. You will receive an email like the below confirming it was spam:

The email will be confirmed as CLEAN. You will receive an email like the below confirming it was clean- your original email will also be attached:
